AMD A-Pro series processors are meant for a business laptops and we recently spotted it in the maintenance manual of the HP 14 laptop. The manual also spilled the AMD A-Pro 3440B specifications which are as follows:

AMD is all set to launch its next APUs that currently have been codenamed Carrizo. All the current Kabini and Beema chips will be swapped with the Carrizo -L accelerated processing units. We have been told that Carrizo-L will be released in December 2014 while the Carrizo mobile APU will be made available to the manufacture in March 2015.
This will put the AMD Carrizo-L processors toe to toe with the entry level Intel’s Celeron and Pentium processors.

The new Intel Broadwell processors are coming this September and we now have the details of three CPUs that will be the first to make their debut in to the market. These are Core X 5Y10, 5Y70 and 5Y10a and it is confirmed by VR-zone’s Chinese site that confirms the Y-series models. They say that the Y models will be released first.
Intel is going to retire Atom S1200 and Z3700 series sooner than expected. In fact we have the concrete date for each series. The Atom Z3740, Z3740D, Z3770 and Z3770D will be discontinued after April 10 2015. The last shipment for the S1260, S1240 and S1220 will be done on October 9 2015.
